Quick ‘Pinions
Hey guys! Here’s some quick ‘pinions on some stuff I’ve played/ watched recently.
Gears of War: Judgment
While a good game in general, I found it to be less epic (heh) than its predecessors. The campaign felt more like a “Missions Mode” one would find in Gears 3. The absence of multiplayer modes such as Horde and Beast keep Judgment from replacing the last game entirely.
Bioshock Infinite
This is a dang good game. The best I’ve played this year so far. It was a grand adventure with a crazy ending.
Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon
At first I thought it was better than the Gamecube game. Then after World 2 I realized it was just a series of repetitive missions that overstayed its welcome.
Alien Nine
A weird OVA series about little girls putting aliens on their heads to fight other aliens. It’s only 4 episodes, so the ending is abrupt and leaves many questions unanswered. Despite not finding it that fulfilling, I still enjoyed it in a way. It uses CGI for one aspect of the aliens and that’s when its 2001 production date is apparent.
Death Note
I read the Death Note manga many years ago, and admittedly had forgotten some key parts in the story, so they felt new and interesting again when I watched the anime. Aside from some ridiculous chip eating, I enjoyed it, and felt they captured the manga well.
Battleblock Theater
Battleblock is pure fun. It’s silly, it’s lighthearted, and the whole thing is narrated by Stamper, which makes it instantly hilarious. With addicting gameplay, great music, and cartoony visuals, it has high replay value. Thanks to weekly playlist features, there’s plenty to do either solo or co-op, even after beating the story.

I never did finish Pokeddex but here’s some of the days I did.
My Anime Story
Story’s Length: 90 Episode ONA Series
Genre: Mecha
Character: The Dandere
Lover: The Dandere
Climax: You lose an eye in exchange of a granted wish.
Ending: You choke with a broccoli and die.
The anime revolves around our protagonist, Herome, who lives in a world where all people are born with their emotions mechanically grafted to their brains, giving them adult mindsets from birth. With emotions dictating actions and lifestyles, war was inevitable, and has been ongoing since the beginning of time. By no coincidence whatsoever, all militia have robotic exo-suits that are controlled by their mecha-brain-emoters (MBEs). Herome is an introvert, however, so he just sits in his room all day, having discussions with himself on forums using multiple alt accounts. The love interest, Damsela, is in a love triangle with two of Herome’s internet egos. They never meet once in the series. After 89 episodes of watching Herome troll himself, edit his signature, and learn Photoshop Elements to make a banner, he trips and impales his eye on an action figure. A magic entity appears claiming he can have any wish granted, the price being one of his eyes. Herome wishes for his impaled eye back. Fearing that his poor health was the cause of the accident, Herome decides to try eating better. He chokes on the first piece of broccoli he eats, and dies. The war goes on, as Herome had played no part in it anyway. Damsela moves on to instant message 40-year-olds who claim they’re 26. The studio never advertises the series and refuses to mention its existence ever again.
Technical Snafus
Hey guys! After a week long absence I return. I was offline due to technical snafus, mostly due to user error, so the specifics aren’t important.
Art-wise, there are still things I need to fix and setup, as I’m rearranging my room right now. When I’m done I’ll have more desk space, and a scanner that’s more readily available, so hopefully I’ll be putting more traditional stuff up.
I may start learning Photoshop as well, in an attempt to expand my software knowledge beyond only using Flash.
Writing-wise, I’d like to make more journals, expressing my opinions on games I play more.

I was testing some things out and drew this thing up.
So sure! A broccoli reaper!
“Or mah greemness, I have become crabe.”
